Oracle Enterprise Manager 12c is not showing DBaaS option

When you open the Cloud menu inside Oracle Enterprise Manager (Enterprise -> Cloud -> Cloud Home) and than go to the "Getting Started" page (Oracle Cloud -> Setup -> Getting Started), it can happen the the option to setup Databases is not presented there, like below:

The problem when this icon does not appear is that the necessary plugins weren't installed.

To do so, go to the Plugins Page (Setup -> Extensibility -> Plug-ins) and check if you have applied the "Oracle Cloud Application" under Cloud folder.

As we can see in the image below, it's not applied:

Select it and click "Deploy" to install the Plugin. Than follow the instructions.

Notice that "Oracle Virtualization" plugin (under "Servers, Storage and Network" folder) is a pre-requisite, so this one also needs to be applied:

After deploying  the "Oracle Virtualization" plugin, you may pass all the pre-reqs tasks:

Install it and than you will be ready to use Oracle Cloud DBaaS functionality. Note that "Oracle Cloud Management Pack for Oracle Database" license may be required if you want to use DBaaS option. It's always good to check with your Oracle representative before using.
