OCM 12c Preparation - Restore the standby database to its normal function

This topic is just telling you exactly to UNDO what you did in the previous topic: convert now from snapshot standby back to a physical standby.

Just do the opposite way.

However, as the topic title is not entirely clear, this could also means to restore the standby database to its normal function after a standby failure, like a datafile loss. So, take also a look in the new available syntax for restoring/recovering datafiles using network on primary/standby.

Path to Documentation:

Data Guard Concepts and Administration -> 10.7.3 Converting a Snapshot Standby Database into a Physical Standby Database
Data Guard Concepts and Administration -> 12.10 Restoring and Recovering Files Over the Network
