Neste artigo, vou demonstrar como resolver o problema quando o agente do EM falha ao iniciar por problemas de mem\u00f3ria no java.<\/p>\n

Estes dias, ap\u00f3s aplicar alguns patches no agente do EM, ao tentar reinici\u00e1-lo, comecei a receber o erro abaixo:<\/p>\n

Ao verificar o arquivo emagent.nohup<\/strong>, havia um erro relacionado \u00e0 mem\u00f3ria do java:<\/p>\n

Como o erro mostra, \u00e9 um problema de falta de mem\u00f3ria (“Out of Memory Exception<\/strong>“). Para resolver, foi necess\u00e1rio aumentar o espa\u00e7o alocado para o “java heap space” no emagent.<\/p>\n
Edite o arquivo ‘$AGENT_BASE\/agent_inst\/sysman\/config\/emd.properties’<\/strong> e aumente a mem\u00f3ria alocada para 512M<\/strong> (que \u00e9 um valor bom e suficiente).<\/p>\n

Ap\u00f3s editado:<\/p>\n

Por fim, tente reexecutar o agente atrav\u00e9s do comando “emctl start agent<\/strong>“:<\/p>\n

\u00d3timo, o agente voltou a funcionar. No entanto, se voc\u00ea ainda receber qualquer erro, ser\u00e1 necess\u00e1rio limpar o “estado” do agente e tentar novamente.<\/p>\n
Siga os passos:<\/p>\n
    \n
  1. Pare e mate qualquer processo ainda existente e relacionado ao EM Agent que ainda estiver executando (perl ou java).<\/li>\n
  2. Apague todos os arquivos da pasta ‘$AGENT_BASE\/agent_inst\/sysman\/emd\/state\/*<\/strong>‘ (ou mova para uma pasta tempor\u00e1ria).<\/li>\n
  3. Limpe o estado do agente executando:\u00a0emctl clearstate agent<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  4. Aumente a mem\u00f3ria alocada editando o arquivo emd.properties<\/strong>, como demonstrado anteriormente, caso ainda n\u00e3o tenha feito.<\/li>\n
  5. Tente iniciar o agente novamente.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
