Please forget it! =]<\/p>\n<p><strong>So, what happened here?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Checking <a href=\"https:\/\/support.oracle.com\/epmos\/faces\/DocContentDisplay?id=19202104.9\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Oracle Database 19c Release Update &amp; Release Update Revision April 2021 Known Issues (Doc ID 19202104.9)<\/a>, we can see that <strong>19.10.1<\/strong>, for both DB and GI, had some major issue and Oracle had to deploy a <strong>19.10.2<\/strong> just some days later:<\/p>\n<p id=\"jUVbHVi\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"516\" height=\"318\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-14601 \" src=\"https:\/\/www.dbarj.com.br\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/img_60faff9f12060.png\" alt=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.dbarj.com.br\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/img_60faff9f12060.png 516w, https:\/\/www.dbarj.com.br\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/img_60faff9f12060-300x185.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 516px) 100vw, 516px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>So, 19.10.2 is actually Patch <a href=\"https:\/\/support.oracle.com\/epmos\/faces\/ui\/patch\/PatchDetail.jspx?patchId=32819074\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">32819074<\/span> <\/a>which was delivered in May 23, 2021, to fix an issue in 19.10.1, and that could not wait until the next cycle.<\/p>\n<p>In the list below you can see the bugs included in 19.10.2 that were not in 19.10.1:<\/p>\n<pre class=\"EnlighterJSRAW\" data-enlighter-language=\"generic\">    BUG_ID BUG_DESC\r\n---------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------\r\n  31886745 DURING ROCE SWITCH REBOOT BOTH X8M-8 NODES EVICTED DUE TO GIPCD DECLARING NODE UNREACHABLE\r\n  32044533 ORA-600 [OPIFCH2 ROWSETSEARLYRET] LOGGED IN DATABASE ALERT LOG\r\n  32153396 EXACS EXADATA CLUSTER PROVISIONING FLOW FAILS TO STOP CLUSTERWARE STACK\r\n  32191451 RDMA GET-KEY FAILS DUE TO INCORRECT NUMBER OF ACTIVE NETWORK DEVICES\r\n  32425124 Fix for Bug 32425124\r\n  32589990 TT23.1ASAN ORA ERRORS AT ROUTINE KFFFILERESIZE [KF F]<\/pre>\n<p id=\"keMvZNk\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1095\" height=\"276\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-14603 \" src=\"https:\/\/www.dbarj.com.br\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/img_60fb00650de72.png\" alt=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.dbarj.com.br\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/img_60fb00650de72.png 1095w, https:\/\/www.dbarj.com.br\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/img_60fb00650de72-300x76.png 300w, https:\/\/www.dbarj.com.br\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/img_60fb00650de72-1024x258.png 1024w, https:\/\/www.dbarj.com.br\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/img_60fb00650de72-768x194.png 768w, https:\/\/www.dbarj.com.br\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/img_60fb00650de72-870x219.png 870w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1095px) 100vw, 1095px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>In summary, this is an exception. You will only see X.X.3 in those odd scenarios where a RUR needed to be replaced ASAP. Just pretend 19.10.1 is 19.10.2 and that 19.10.2 is 19.10.3. =]<\/p>\n<p>And this is yet another reason to <a href=\"https:\/\/mikedietrichde.com\/2017\/11\/07\/ru-rur-recommendations-facts\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">always go for the RU instead of the RURs.<\/a><\/p>\n<b>Have you enjoyed?
