OCM 12c Preparation - Where to take the exam

The place to take the exam is one of the most difficult things to decide if you do not live near a test center.

The OCM exam is very expensive. You need also to add to this cost hotel + flight + anything else during your exam trip. So, first of all, the most important thing you may do is check the prices and schedules worldwide here.

UPDATE APR/2017: Oracle is now consolidating the places where you can take the exam to only a few places (almost only one per continent). One reason for that is because Oracle is closing many of the places where it used to give instructor-led in-class in favor for LVC. Those classrooms were also used for OCM exam.

At April / 2017, the exam price is:

  • £ 1,684 - United Kingdom
  • KRW 1.203.332 - Korea
  • CNY 9300 - China
  • Rs 39598 - India
  • US$ 2,499 - United States

Don't look only at the money side. Remember that the less time you stay travelling in a plane, the better for you. So you need a complex math here to balance cost / stress / timeshift. Also try to arrive some days before to adjust your sleep in a different timezone and also to know the path from your hotel to Oracle University very well.

How may I know when they will arrange the OCM 12c exam in India?

    1. Hi Abdulkadir,
In the Oracle education website (http://education.oracle.com/) there is a top right button "Request Training". You can use it to request or ask if they plan to implement it on India.. however, unfortunately the current wave shows that Oracle is actually reducing the number of training centers..
Let us know if you get any updates,
