Performance Analyser is specially good when we are doing an Upgrade in our Oracle Version, so you can check the times of the queries before/after the change. But for OCM, only 11gR2 is required to study. So probably, we will face another type of changement, like:
- Parameter Change
- Optimizer Statistics
Practice here creating a SQL Tuning Set and checking the performance changement after a very drastical parameter modification, as optimizer_mode set to 'RULE'.
This is another topic that you should avoid at all costs using any approach different from Oracle Enterprise Manager. It will save you a lot of time!
